
Claims Handling Specialist

As a Full Time Hybrid contract Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling post-notifications, processing, and phone calls related to First Notification of Loss claims. Your duties will also include compliance with insurer binders and claims authority and reporting rules, maintaining efficient service from department/company perspective, and logging all notifications and month-end actions.
You will work closely with the Claims Manager and insurance carriers to ensure smooth claim settlement processes. Additionally, you will be responsible for appointing approved repairers, loss adjusters, engineers, medical and legal experts for settlements, and attending settlement negotiations if requested.
- Day-to-day handling of FNOL claims
- Compliance with insurer binders and claims authority and reporting rules
- Maintaining efficient service from department/company perspective
- Logging all notifications and month-end actions
To succeed in this role, you will need to have 1-2 years of FNOL claims handling experience, APA qualification or grandfathered status, and working towards CIP. You should possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent negotiation and decision-making abilities, and the ability to work on your own initiative.
