At Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, we are dedicated to providing community-based rehabilitation services that enable individuals with acquired brain injuries to live fulfilling lives.

We are recruiting for a Community Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team in the South West Dublin, Kildare & West Wicklow region, where they will work closely with individuals with acquired brain injuries to develop and implement strategies for achieving their goals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Forming strong relationships with individuals served and maintaining a positive, professional rapport
  • Undertaking the role of Keyworker as required
  • Providing support to achieve goals outlined in Individual Rehabilitation Plans (IRPs)
  • Developing strategies to maximise the ability of individuals, build coping mechanisms for daily living, and promote independence

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a relevant Health or Social Care qualification, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to write and speak English to a high standard. Previous experience supporting people in the community and working in an area of disability would be an advantage.
