**Job Overview:**

Systra is seeking a Senior Traffic Management Coordinator to join its team in Dublin, Ireland.

This role will be responsible for ensuring effective traffic management arrangements are in place throughout the delivery of projects, minimizing their impact on congestion and ensuring safe delivery.

  • Carry out a review of the traffic management plan for each Scheme to be developed by Design and Build Contractors, ensuring coordination with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure relevant permits are in place to facilitate Contractors' Traffic Management Design once approved by the NEC4 PM.
  • Oversee all traffic management design inputs across the project, assuring they are designed in accordance with codes of practice, relevant standards, and best international practice.
  • Oversee the drafting of interface management requirements related to Traffic Management for each of the Design and Build Contracts and input into procurement documents.
  • Manage complex traffic engineering/safety and traffic planning studies and develop designs to support traffic management for CBCIW, also acting as lead traffic designer.
  • Ensure traffic management arrangements are implemented in line with approved Traffic Management Plans.
  • Ensure coordination across Schemes in relation to traffic management arrangements, ensuring approaches to traffic management plans taken by each of the Design and Build Contracts are aligned to eliminate potential conflicts.
  • Ensure learnings in relation to traffic management are disseminated across Schemes.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Traffic Management Plan Review: Conduct thorough reviews of the traffic management plan for each scheme, ensuring seamless coordination with key stakeholders.
  • Permit Procurement: Obtain necessary permits for contractors’ traffic management designs, aligning with NEC4 PM approvals.
  • Design Oversight: Ensure that all traffic management design inputs adhere to industry standards, practices, and best global methods.
  • Interface Management: Develop and implement interface management requirements for traffic management within design and build contracts.
  • Complex Studies Management: Lead the development of complex traffic engineering and safety studies to inform traffic management strategies.
  • Plan Implementation: Oversee the implementation of traffic management plans according to approved guidelines.
  • Scheme Coordination: Coordinate traffic management arrangements across schemes, ensuring alignment and eliminating potential conflicts.
  • Learner Dissemination: Share knowledge and best practices regarding traffic management among scheme teams.
