Engineering Design Expert

We are currently seeking enthusiastic engineers to join our design team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing high-quality engineering design drawings and specifications as part of an experienced team.
  • Liaising with team members and clients on a wide range of projects.
  • Assisting in the compilation of reports and documents.
  • Working in both supervised and unsupervised environments, ensuring that the technical content of work is acceptable and prepared in agreed timescales.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Report to appropriate team leader on technical issues associated with project work.
  • Attend site visits as necessary.

MHL offers engineers the opportunity to expand their experience in a range of engineering fields. We are well-equipped to provide these services with an array of in-house expertise.

Requirements for this role:

Bachelor degree or masters level qualification in Civil Engineering.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages.

Strong understanding of civil engineering design principles.

Knowledge of road design standards is beneficial.

Any experience of highway design software packages (Autocad Civil 3d, WinDes) would also be beneficial.
