Job Title: Senior Software Development Lead

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Lead to join our team. This role involves leading software development and testing efforts as a senior member of the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor junior engineers on automation and quality best practices, ensuring they have the skills needed to excel in their roles.
  • Drive shift-left testing by integrating tests earlier in the development lifecycle, improving overall product quality.
  • Develop and maintain quality metrics frameworks, providing actionable insights into test coverage, defect leakage, flakiness, and test debt.
  • Own the test data strategy, including synthetic data generation and data masking for secure and scalable test environments.
  • Design and develop automated tests for both back-end (e.g., APIs, services) and front-end (e.g., web UI) components, ensuring seamless integration with the SDLC/STLC.
  • Create and maintain automated test suites based on acceptance criteria, guaranteeing high-quality products.
  • Automate manual tests and incorporate them into regression test suites, reducing testing time and effort.
  • Develop automated post-deployment testing to support production readiness evaluations, ensuring timely identification of issues.
  • Participate in code reviews to advocate for testability and quality gates, maintaining high standards within the team.
  • Collaborate with product and UX teams to ensure testability and usability are considered early in the design phase, driving cross-functional understanding.
  • Incident analysis and postmortem participation to improve test coverage and prevent regressions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
