Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Solicitor to join our team.

As part of our continued expansion, we aim to recruit an experienced professional to handle Professional Negligence and Financial Lines claims.

The successful candidate will work on behalf of international insurers in the defence of claims brought against their insured clients, primarily handling Professional Negligence and Financial Lines claims.

Responsibilities:

  • Defend claims brought against insured clients;
  • Handle Professional Negligence and Financial Lines claims;
  • Support on high-value disputes in the High Court and Commercial Court, as required.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A background in insurance litigation or general litigation experience with a strong interest in developing expertise in insurance law;
  • Hold relevant qualifications and demonstrate strong technical legal skills, including a comprehensive understanding of legal principles, case law, and relevant subject matter;
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism and take pride in the quality and accuracy of your work;
  • Be a collaborative team player, contributing positively to team dynamics;
  • Show meticulous attention to detail and a thorough approach to legal work;
  • Be self-motivated with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence;
  • Display confidence in your professional interactions and decision-making;
  • Work proactively and show initiative, while remaining receptive to supervision and guidance;
  • Possess excellent organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
