Insurance Claims Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-focused insurance claims specialist to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our insurance administration team, you will be responsible for reviewing applications and assessing claims for life and serious illness products.

Key Responsibilities
  • • Reviewing applications and assessing claims for life and serious illness products with attention to detail and following internal guidelines and standards.
  • • Making accurate and timely decisions that align with company policies and procedures.
  • • Clearly explaining decisions to customers and advisers in a supportive and professional manner.
  • • Collaborating with various internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and process execution.
  • • Identifying opportunities for improvement and contributing to the development of new processes and procedures.
  • • Maintaining a positive and team-focused attitude while upholding the highest standards of integrity in all aspects of work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • • Fluent German language skills (written and spoken) are essential for this role.
  • • A minimum of two years' experience in underwriting or claims for life/serious illness insurance or a medical background (e.g., nursing or medical degree).
  • • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • • Good time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
