Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer to join our team in Tipperary. This full-time, on-site role offers an initial 11-month contract opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production processes.

The key responsibilities include:
  1. Developing and maintaining the Planned and Predictive Maintenance (PPM) system, including writing job plans and assigning maintenance frequencies (SAP & Procal).
  2. Creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for compliance in the Engineering Department.
  3. Supporting the implementation of maintenance best practices, such as Lean Six Sigma (LSS) processes.
  4. Leading equipment criticality assessments and developing new maintenance strategies/plans for new assets.
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to develop multi-year Reliability roadmaps and execute them effectively.
  6. Leading technical Root Cause Analysis events and incident investigations to prevent asset or process failures.

Key Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering or Technical discipline or a trade / 3rd level qualification in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing GMP with a strong compliance mindset.
  • Familiarity with GMP/EHS guidelines and Legislation, Plant Maintenance systems (e.g. SAP/Procal), CMMS systems, document management systems, and office applications.
