Facilities Management Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Manager to join our client's global organization in Ireland.

This role involves overseeing the enhancement, upkeep, and functioning of auxiliary equipment, structures, and premises. You will ensure adherence to environmental regulations and standards, achieve sustainability objectives by minimizing waste, emissions, and energy usage.

  • Oversee capital expenditure initiatives for facility upgrades, installations, renovations, and new equipment.
  • Direct and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs for facilities and essential equipment like chillers and compressors.
  • Supervise and train facilities engineering personnel.
  • Manage contracts for facility maintenance, engineering, and environmental services.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and safety managers to enhance plant performance and efficiency.
  • Track and report environmental metrics such as water consumption, carbon footprint, and waste recycling rates.

Key Responsibilities:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities management activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated track record in facilities management or a comparable position within a manufacturing setting.
  • Understanding of facilities operations, maintenance procedures, and environmental stewardship.
  • Proficiency in health and safety protocols and regulations.
  • Established competence in project management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and project management proficiencies.

To be successful in this role, you must have a proven track record in facilities management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
