The School of Medicine at the University College Dublin (UCD) invites applications for a temporary post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Physiology. This is a full-time position based at the UCD Health Sciences Centre, Belfield.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Teach and conduct research in physiology to undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum for the physiology program.
  • Participate in academic governance and service activities within the school and university.

Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in physiology or a related field and a strong track record of teaching and research experience. They should also have expertise in physiology education and be familiar with contemporary pedagogical approaches.

  • Salary Scale: The lecturer/assistant professor will be appointed on scale according to the Department of Finance guidelines.
