">Occupational Health and Safety Specialist">

As an Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that construction activities are conducted safely and in compliance with all relevant regulatory and corporate health and safety standards.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • Develop and manage the Permit to Work system to ensure seamless operations
  • Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations related to PSCS/PSDP responsibilities for construction activities
  • Deliver comprehensive health and safety inductions to contractors and project personnel
  • Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to mitigate potential hazards
  • Prepare and maintain accurate occupational health and safety reports, records, and statistics
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of occupational health and safety management systems, policies, and procedures
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and monitor the implementation of control measures
  • Monitor adherence to legislative and corporate occupational health and safety standards, ensuring readiness for internal and external audits
  • Collaborate in the development and coordination of emergency response procedures
">Requirements:">
  • Hold a relevant third-level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety and/or Environmental discipline
  • Possess minimum 3–5 years' experience in an occupational health and safety role, preferably in a construction environment within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical sector
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Irish occupational health and safety legislation, especially related to construction projects
  • Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to engage with contractors and stakeholders across multidisciplinary teams
