About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Process Scientist/Engineer to join our state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility located on the west coast of Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and transfer robust process control strategies for new product introductions (NPI).
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technology transfers and ongoing manufacturing.
- Collaborate with Research & Development and Drug Product Development teams to develop fit-for-purpose processes.
- Author gap assessments, facility fit studies, process safety, and risk assessments for NPI.
- Design, onboard, and test single-use assemblies for sterile manufacturing.
- Act as SME for equipment selection and Commissioning and Qualification activities for new equipment.
- Graduate degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Science, or related discipline with extensive experience (MSc) or strong experience (PhD) in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with at-scale antibody drug conjugate (ADC) manufacturing, including conjugation and fill-finish operations.
- Detailed understanding of the chemistry of large molecules and protein conjugation, demonstrated through successful project execution.
