Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Home Care Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to make a difference in people's lives by providing high-quality care and support in the comfort of their own homes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional care services to clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. If you have a kind heart, strong communication skills, and a passion for caring for others, we want to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing personalized care and support to clients in their homes
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Preparing meals and snacks according to client preferences
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Providing companionship and social interaction
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Care experience not required - we provide excellent training for all staff
- QQI level 5 in Healthcare - Must have 'Care Skills' and 'Care of the Older Person' at a minimum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Empathetic and kind approach to care
