Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Security Architecture team. This role will play a critical part in driving engagement with service teams and cross-organizational initiatives.

  • Embed secure-by-design and secure-by-default into technologies, including threat modeling activities across the development community.
  • Critically assess the security of system architectures and suggest improvements and controls.
  • Foster a positive security attitude among development teams you partner with.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats, including AI-specific threats, that may impact our organization.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in Application Security, Software Engineering, or Public Cloud Platform Engineering.
  • Proven ability to conduct security assessments using various methodologies such as code reviews, threat modeling, system analysis, etc.
  • Experience with public cloud technologies, automation, and cloud-native applications, GCP and/or AWS preferred.
  • Deep understanding of security concepts/methods/protocols in areas such as authentication, authorization, role-based access control, encryption, and penetration testing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
