The role of Construction Project Manager involves overseeing the entire construction process from bid proposal submission to project delivery.

Key responsibilities include reviewing project documentation, developing a comprehensive project execution plan, managing estimating and preconstruction resources, preparing proposals for internal stakeholders and clients, engaging with designers, collaborating with the delivery business unit, reviewing tender deliverables, driving critical reviews of projects, and proposing alternative solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a third-level degree in an engineering subject and at least 5-10 years of experience, including 5 years as a Project Manager. Strong experience in preconstruction project management and project management is essential.

  • 5-10 years of experience, including 5 years as a Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review project documentation and develop a comprehensive project execution plan.
  • Manage estimating, preconstruction, and business unit resources dedicated to the bid project.
  • Prepare and present proposals to internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Engage with designers to develop detailed designs.
  • Collaborate with the delivery business unit to identify a suitable team for the project.
  • Review tender deliverables and develop responses.
  • Drive a critical review of the project and propose alternative solutions.
  • Develop the project schedule of works in cooperation with the project team.
  • Plan logistics and develop a draft logistics plan.
  • Identify potential supply chain partners.
  • Review project responsibility matrix and subcontract proposals.
  • Other items and deliverables specific to each project.

Requirements:

  • Third-level degree in an engineering subject (Mechanical, Electrical, Construction, or similar).
  • 5-10 years of experience, including 5 years as a Project Manager.
  • Experience in preconstruction project management and project management.
