Optical Metrology Expert Required

We are seeking a skilled Optical Metrology Expert to join our team in Cork. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing and planning projects effectively.

  • Manage and plan projects to ensure effective utilization of resources.
  • Explore opportunities for collaborative projects with external research groups.
  • Introduce and validate new equipment and/or complex process projects.
  • Initiate and drive cost improvement initiatives.
  • Support and improve existing processes through analysis and engineering principles.
Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in high volume manufacturing environment with project management skills.
  • Preferred experience in or knowledge of optics and optical metrology.
  • 5 years' experience in medical device manufacturing with cross-site projects and R&D Liaison.
  • Degree in engineering/Physics with an applied element of optics, optical metrology, and opto-mechanics.
  • Knowledge and experience of optomechanical systems and associated control systems.
