Optimizing Process Efficiency
Job Description:Seeking a highly skilled and experienced process engineer to join our team in Longford. The ideal candidate will have a background in precision injection molding and contract manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the engineering/production department to enhance manufacturing processes and develop optimal moulding processes and tooling automation.
- Introduce new products into the production line, compile standard specifications, and monitor production to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Coordinate documentation development in production and technical areas, ensuring conformance to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
- Establish relationships with customers and suppliers to drive continuous improvement and business growth.
- Optimize processes using statistical techniques.
- National Diploma in Plastics Engineering or Degree in Plastics Engineering, with at least 4-5 years' experience in injection moulding.
- Excellent knowledge of Injection Mold tooling and design.
- Familiarity with Injection Moulding (standard process and multi-component), processing, ancillary equipment, and automation systems.
- Preference for experience in Medical, Packaging, or technological industries.
- Familiarity with Real-time monitoring systems is an advantage.
