About the Job
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying critical projects for capital funding, preparing project briefs and scoping documents, and submitting proposals based on initial project assessments.
  • Supervising contractors to ensure compliance with project briefs, relevant legislation, and guidelines is also a crucial aspect of this position.
  • This role involves leading project management works undertaken directly by the Buildings and Property Management team.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Critical Projects
  • Identify key projects that require capital funding.
  • Prepare comprehensive project briefs and scoping documents.
  • Submit proposals for initial project assessments.
Contractor Supervision
  • Ensure contractors comply with project briefs, relevant legislation, and guidelines.
Project Management
  • Lead project management works undertaken directly by the Buildings and Property Management team.
Technical Guidance
  • Provide expert technical guidance and recommendations on building-related matters.
Stakeholder Relationships
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to represent organizational needs.
Delivering KPIs
  • Assist in delivering Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Buildings and Property Management team.
Standard Operating Procedures
  • Support the production and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme
  • Implement and deliver a Planned Preventative Maintenance Programme for all buildings.
Administrative Operations
  • Manage administrative head office operations and ensure compliance with fire and health & safety regulations.
Sustainability Agenda
  • Pursue a sustainability agenda aligned with organizational climate targets.
Representative Roles
  • Represent the organization in programme funding initiatives.
Health & Safety Regulations
  • Advise on Health & Safety Regulations, Building Regulations, and best industry practice.
Facilities Management Functions
  • Support establishment of facilities management functions.
