**Duty Manager Opportunity**

  • We are seeking an exceptional Duty Manager to lead our hotel operations with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising with department heads on a daily basis to ensure efficient staffing levels and resolving any operational discrepancies.
  • They will oversee the implementation of service delivery and standards throughout the entire building when on duty.

Additional Duties:

  • Maintain a strong lobby presence during peak periods, including check-in/check-out times, lunchtime, and around the banqueting area during tea/coffee breaks.
  • Ensure back-of-house areas are clean and properly maintained.
  • Attend daily team briefings to discuss business coverage and provide feedback.
  • Develop a comprehensive handover system to inform the manager on duty about VIPs, complaints, special requests, function business, and action items.
  • Handle situations related to Salto Wristband loss in conjunction with the General Manager.
  • Conduct regular spot-checks of guest bedrooms.
  • Maintain public areas according to agreed standards.
  • Respond to guest complaints in a calm, organized, and discreet manner, ensuring complete service recovery every time.
  • Participate in and conduct training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Compile, record, and store necessary Duty Management documentation.
