Electrical Engineer - Bio-Gas Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Ireland. This is a unique opportunity to work on the maintenance of bio-gas grid entry units at various client sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working on the condition-based servicing and planned preventative maintenance of these units, ensuring they are safe and functioning properly.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing annual facility servicing, including condition-based servicing and Planned Preventative Maintenance
  • Testing Grid Entry Units to ensure they are safe and working well before signing off
  • Investigating issues to find faults and performing system analysis – carrying out replacements as needed
  • Engaging with clients to understand their needs, making observations, and suggesting possible improvements
  • Providing remote support to customers as part of an on-call rota

Requirements include:

  • Previous experience within industrial servicing or controls systems
  • Solid analytical/problem-solving skills and technical skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbally and written
  • Gas industry experience or HND/HNC-level qualifications; experience in the Biogas/Biomethane industries would be advantageous
  • Ability to work as part of a team and willingness to learn
