About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Construction Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of site-based projects from start to finish.

Main Responsibilities:

">
  • To ensure that all site works are carried out in accordance with project specifications and relevant regulations.
  • To coordinate and direct site staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to complete tasks efficiently.
  • To conduct quality reviews on site, focusing on rebar and concrete placement.
  • To review technical submissions prior to uploading to the design team, ensuring accurate representation of site work.
  • To oversee concrete testing and results, identifying areas for improvement.
  • To direct subcontractors as needed, providing clear instructions on works to be carried out.
  • To prepare technical method statements, detailing procedures for specific tasks.
  • To manage traffic flow on site, coordinating works within busy locations.
  • To maintain accurate records of daily activities, relevant information, and occurrences in the site diary.
  • To pursue personal development and training, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • To conduct work in a safe manner, addressing any safety concerns promptly.
  • To develop and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • To monitor and check setting out instruments and testing equipment, ensuring accuracy.
  • To maximize profit through efficient day-to-day actions, eliminating rework where possible.

Requirements:

">
  • A third-level qualification in Engineering.
  • Proven experience in setting out or working as a Site Engineer in previous roles.
  • Experience working with main contractors, subcontractors, surveying firms, or similar preferred.
  • Experience managing traffic for large-scale sites in high-traffic areas.
  • Good understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint, etc.
