Maintenance Coordinator Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our semi-automated cold storage facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance, while also managing MRO storeroom operations and implementing proactive maintenance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Ensure minimal downtime and safety compliance by coordinating maintenance tasks for our semi-automated cold storage facility.
  • Screen and Prioritize Work Orders: Screen and prioritize work orders, define job scopes, and ensure all required documentation and resources are prepared.
  • Manage MRO Storeroom Operations: Manage MRO storeroom operations and implement proactive maintenance strategies to improve overall efficiency.
  • Facilitate Communication: Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to improve system performance and reduce costs.
  • Accurate Management: Ensure accurate management of maintenance activities through CMMS (Manager+).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, Operations, or Business Administration is preferred.
  • Experience: Experience in maintenance planning within industrial, distribution, or manufacturing environments is required.
  • Semi-Automated Systems: Hands-on experience with semi-automated material handling systems (ASRS) is necessary.
  • CMMS Expertise: Expertise in CMMS (preferably Manager+) and LOTO systems is essential.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills are required.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They must be able to work effectively in a team environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
