Job Summary

Cold Store Maintenance Technician Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technician to join our team at our state-of-the-art Cold Storage facility in Dublin. This is a challenging opportunity for a technical professional looking to advance their career in maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have excellent mechanical and electrical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will be responsible for ensuring all equipment is repaired to the highest possible standards, maintaining accurate records of work carried out, and implementing permanent fixes for issues raised on shift reports.

This role also involves being responsible for the Maintenance H&S function on shift, providing daily feedback to management through recording and reporting on all maintenance activities, and assisting with technical projects, equipment installation, and continuous improvements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for the Cold Store Maintenance function on shift.
    • Ensure all equipment is repaired to the highest possible standards.
    • Record all work carried out in SAP and on Shift Report.
    • Implement permanent fixes for all issues raised on the SAP shift report.
    • Be responsible for the Maintenance H&S function on shift.
    • Provide daily feedback to management through recording and reporting on all Maintenance activities.
    • Assist management in all technical activities, including projects, equipment installation, reporting, and continuous improvements.
  • Requirements:
    • Electrically Qualified with strong Mechanical skills.
    • Ability to use a multimeter, understand Electrical schematics, and troubleshoot electrical systems and sensor faults.
    • Good team player and self-motivated.
    • Available for call-out duties and/or overtime when required.
    • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, SAP).
