We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lotus Care Limited. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and possess excellent communication skills.
About UsLotus Care provides a range of respite, residential and support services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities in a homely and comfortable community setting.
Your RoleThe Occupational Therapist will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering occupational therapy services within the organization, ensuring a high-quality person-centred service in line with best practice.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain professional standards based on evidence-based practice.
- Maintain and track key performance indicators to include waiting list, caseloads, multidisciplinary team input etc.
- Create and maintain an ethics-based occupational therapy service delivery.
- Generate a quality-driven service supporting health and wellbeing.
- Maximise client active involvement in the development of their care pathway.
- Hold a third-level qualification and registration with CORU as an Occupational Therapist.
- Hold a minimum two-year full-time post-qualification clinical experience.
- Possess a full clean driving license and access to a car.
- Have previous health service experience, ideally in the ID sector.
- Evidence of participation in continued professional development.
