We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to take on this challenging role. Our objective is to empower people with essential skills for full and satisfying lives as equal members of their communities.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide intervention for children facing speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties.
- Develop tailored therapy plans, interventions, and recommendations in line with industry best practice and professional standards.
- Collaborate with service owners, families, carers, schools, and other professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate records, including assessment reports, intervention plans, and progress updates in accordance with regulatory policies and quality standards.
- Take a lead in service development initiatives, quality improvement projects, and clinical governance activities.
The ideal candidate will have a 3rd level qualification in Speech Therapy or equivalent, registration with the relevant authority, and at least one year of post-qualification experience working with children/young adults with intellectual disabilities. They will also hold a full clean driving license and access to a car.
