Senior Packaging Automation Engineer

The key objective of this role is to design, install, and validate automated packaging production lines for medical devices.
This position requires several years of experience managing the development and deployment of large-scale, custom packaging automation projects with equipment integrators.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in manufacturing, particularly those with NPI leadership experience in the automation of packaging equipment (experience in medical devices is an advantage).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement process optimization strategies for packaging systems.
- Investigate technical root causes related to packaging automation issues.
- Support production line ramp-up to achieve production goals.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing metrics.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles to optimize packaging line performance.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant quality system requirements.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or similar discipline.
- 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment with high-volume automated assembly and packaging experience.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication abilities.
