We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Professional to provide exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities, ensuring their needs are met and promoting their independence.

About the Role:

  • Delivering high-quality care to service users in residential settings
  • Teaching daily living and social skills through engaging activities
  • Maintaining positive relationships with service users and staff
  • Keeping accurate records of service user documentation
  • Performing other tasks as required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized support plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify individualized care needs
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to service users and their families
  • Foster a safe and inclusive environment that promotes dignity and respect
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or relevant qualification
  • Experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and supervise staff/service users
  • Full manual driving license
