Commercial Project Manager Job

The role of Senior Quantity Surveyor involves overseeing the financial and contractual aspects of a prestigious apartment development in County Cork. As a key member of the project team, you will play a vital role in ensuring commercial targets are met.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the project from procurement to final account
  • Prepare and administer tender packages, subcontractor procurement, and contract management
  • Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations to meet commercial objectives
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers on behalf of the project
  • Provide monthly reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts

Requirements:

To be successful as a Commercial Project Manager, you will need:

  • A degree qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5+ years post-graduate experience in residential projects with a main contractor or developer
  • Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • A proven track record in managing multi-unit housing/apartment developments
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
