Role Summary:

Service Advisor Apprentice

We are recruiting a dynamic and ambitious Service Advisor to join our team. As an Apprentice Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing the flow of information between the workshop and customers, and ensuring that all service needs are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all service telephone and walk-in enquiries on behalf of the dealership.
  • Qualify service needs and diagnose vehicle running problems where appropriate.
  • Establish understanding and agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out.
  • Calculate workshop capacity and ensure accurate details are entered onto the service workshop loading system.
  • Manage the handover and administration of Customer Service Vehicles.
  • Explain the work carried out on vehicles to ensure customer full understanding and authorisation.
  • Maintain safe working practices and adhere to manufacturer brand service requirements.

Training and Development:

  • A minimum of six months structured and comprehensive training.
  • Ongoing support and guidance from experienced colleagues.
