Commercial Sales Representative Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of sales success, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing and growing existing client relationships, and supporting the launch of new products and services to market. They will also be responsible for pricing enquiries, commercial tendering proposals, research and identification of new business opportunities, understanding competitor offerings, preparation of sales KPI reports, and supporting the Sales Director in their strategic sales duties.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  2. BUILD AND MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS THROUGH EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research and networking
  4. Prepare and present sales proposals and pitches to clients
  5. Monitor and analyze sales data to inform sales strategies and identify areas for improvement
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in sales or a related field
  • Proven track record of sales success and achievement of targets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of sales software and systems
  • Fully qualified driver's license (valid Irish license)
