About the Job

This is a newly created position within our organization, offering an exciting opportunity to shape and continuously improve project management operations. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to support development and enablement.

The Project Management Office will oversee strategic planning and execution of projects aligned with corporate ambitions, providing day-to-day support to project managers and teams to enhance delivery capabilities across the organization. Projects will span capital investments, IT, business transformation, climate change initiatives, and other key areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Spearhead the development, embedding, and ongoing operation of project management office functions.
  • Promote best practices in project management methodologies, fostering efficiency and collaboration through streamlined processes.
  • Derive and report key metrics and KPIs to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide oversight of projects/programmes, including reporting against cost, scope, change, time, risk, and quality metrics.
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and learning to enhance project delivery capabilities and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior management, stakeholders, and cross-functionally to drive project success and contribute to overall strategic initiatives.
  • Offer regular guidance and support to project managers and teams.
  • Develop and support risk/issue/project change management strategies.
  • Support introduction of associated PMO IT systems.
  • Provide structured training/mentorship to PMO stakeholders.
