Electrical Project Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.

  • Attend project start-up meetings to ensure alignment with project specifications.
  • Become familiar with all project details and specifications to facilitate smooth execution.
  • Collate technical submittals, ensuring timely issuance and follow-through until approval.
  • Raise and manage RFIs (Requests for Information) to address project-related queries.
  • Manage labour tracker to optimize resource allocation and productivity.
  • Maintain Progress Reports on a weekly basis, reporting and managing any changes or variations.
  • Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team to ensure effective collaboration.
  • Oversee the coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure adequate materials are always available to complete the project, minimizing delays and rework.
  • Establish construction and commissioning programmes, implementing the commissioning plan on site to ensure seamless project handover.
  • Generate bi-weekly/monthly snag lists and improvements to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Manage the K&M handover process and maintain the K&M Document Management System to ensure efficient knowledge transfer.
  • Develop project-specific scheduling to meet project timelines and milestones.
  • Hold meetings with Sub Contractors to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to project plans.
  • Attend general site meetings and action points raised to address project-related concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Educational background in Electrical Engineering or Building Services is essential.
  • Previous experience delivering large electrical projects is crucial for success in this role.
  • Providing technical support to management and site installation teams is desirable.
  • Self-motivation, excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), and fluency in English are essential for effective collaboration and project execution.
