Project Manager for Water and Wastewater Projects

We are seeking a highly motivated project manager to oversee the successful delivery of water and wastewater treatment projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Coordinate health and safety initiatives and liaise with our internal department to ensure safe work practices onsite.
  • Support the design team in delivering innovative solutions and using modern technologies.
  • Procure all necessary items for project delivery.
  • Develop and manage project programs to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and provide regular project updates.
  • Resource management of site labour, including subcontractors.
  • Prepare and document engineering reports, method statements, and commissioning schedules.
Key Competencies and Skills:
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater industry, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Proven experience in an engineering role, preferably in a mechanical and electrical environment.
