Warehouse Operations Manager Position

 

The role of Warehouse Operations Manager is a key position in our organization, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This includes managing the procurement of stock, equipment, and supplies required for daily operations.

 

  • Develop and implement warehouse management strategies to optimize operations and reduce costs.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the warehouse to ensure efficient inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stocking, receiving, and shipping of products.
  • Coordinate with sales aftersales and systems departments to forecast demand and prepare purchasing plans.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

 

  • 4+ years' experience in warehouse management and procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control systems.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable terms.
  • Forklift license and all required safety courses.
  • Proficiency in modern warehouse management software and tools.
  • Strong communication skills.
