Energy Management Specialist

The Smart Energy Services business is accountable for developing and delivering integrated energy management solutions for large energy users in Ireland and the UK. This involves designing, developing, and delivering tailored solutions that include energy efficiency, onsite generation, and demand management technologies, working in partnership with customers to create long-term shared value.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support sales teams in negotiating and agreeing customer contracts to manage risk exposure
  • Lead contract procurement, negotiations, and award processes for SES contractors in conjunction with the Engineering & Delivery function
  • Conduct cost analysis and contract negotiation in various agreements (EPC, O&M, Leases, Licenses, Vendor Frameworks)
  • Prepare customer and EPC contract documentation in association with the legal department
  • Review tender documentation to extract key project data and develop heads of terms, supported by the sales team
  • Drive efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget
  • Liaise with engineering and finance teams to develop pricing and commercial models for identified opportunities

The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of projects in a timely, efficient, sustainable, and safe manner while achieving commercial targets. They will also safeguard the financial and commercial interests of the company by managing and controlling commercial and legal risk, income, and expenditure.
