Product Development Technician Role

This position involves providing technical support to engineers and contributing to the design, development, and manufacturing of complex medical devices.

The ideal candidate will have experience with delivery systems for client companies and be skilled in assembling, testing, and packaging complex mechanical devices. Additionally, they should be able to work closely with Engineers to design and develop assembly methods.

  • Design and develop delivery systems for client companies
  • Assemble, test, and package complex mechanical devices following written and verbal instructions
  • Work with Engineers to design and develop assembly methods
  • Maintain accurate work records such as engineering notebooks and routers
  • Train assemblers, technicians, and engineers in assembly methods
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Assist with in-process testing to assure product meets specification

Technical skills and qualifications include a technical diploma advantageous and braiding and lamination experience desirable. Balloon Catheter development or manufacturing experience is also highly valued.
