Senior Financial Accountant

This role is a great opportunity to take on the responsibility of managing and implementing accounting standards, policies, and procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and analysing monthly financial reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Managing statutory accounts preparation and involvement in tax return submissions.
  • Overseeing the implementation of new accounting standards and policies across the organisation.
  • Conducting variance analysis and identifying trends with key stakeholders.
  • Providing accurate and timely financial information, including month-end and year-end close, account reconciliations, regulatory compliance, internal controls, and team supervision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and analysis of financial reports and presentation to senior management.
  • Management of statutory accounts preparation and involvement in tax returns submission.
  • Implementation of new accounting standards and policies across the organisation.
  • Variance analysis and identification of trends with key stakeholders.
  • Financial reporting, month-end and year-end close, account reconciliation, regulatory compliance, internal control, and team supervision.
Ideal Candidate
  • ACA or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • 4+ years PQE (Post-qualified experience).
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, financial modelling, and Power BI experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
