Job Overview:

A Financial Analyst is required to provide financial analysis and planning support to operational leadership teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of financial budgets and forecasts, reviewing actual costs versus budget as part of month-end close processes, and allocating labor and overhead to production costs.

  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Support the development of financial budgets and forecasts, and review actual costs versus budget as part of month-end close processes.
  • Production Cost Management: Prepare monthly reconciliations of inventory, including the preparation of inventory reserves and write-off analysis, partnering with supply chain and manufacturing teams.
  • Capital Cost Control: Collaborate with capital project controllers to report actual spend, committed spend, and forecast to complete against budgets, and provide timely and accurate data in support of cash-flow management processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience within a manufacturing environment, performing duties within Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), product costing, general ledger, and operational analyses.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP FICO is essential.
  • Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Power BI and Hyperion systems an advantage.
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical mindset, with proven ability to own and solve problems and understand the bigger picture.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or other relevant/equivalent qualification).
  • ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA (or other relevant/equivalent qualification).
