Microsoft 365 Administrator Job Description

The Microsoft 365 administrator plays a vital role in ensuring the effective management, administration, and support of our cloud-based services.

We are seeking an experienced administrator to provide user and license administration, manage updates, ensure compliance with security frameworks, and deliver technical support.

  • User and License Management:
    • Provision and deprovision user accounts
    • Assign licenses and manage user properties within Microsoft 365
  • Application and Service Administration:
    • Manage and maintain Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and other M365 applications
  • Security and Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce security policies, including multi-factor authentication, data protection, and information governance standards
    • Monitor compliance with hospital, national, and international regulatory frameworks
  • Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
    • Respond to support tickets and escalated issues relating to M365 services
    • Perform advanced troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution to maintain service availability
  • Deployment and Updates:
    • Deploy service updates and feature releases across the Microsoft 365 environment
  • Strategic Planning and Implementation:
    • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive M365 roadmap by identifying opportunities for improved use of Microsoft 365 services
  • Training and Adoption:
    • Assist in the creation of end-user training materials and deliver training sessions to improve adoption of M365 tools
  • System Health and Monitoring:
    • Monitor the health and performance of the M365 environment, ensuring continuity and service optimization
