Job Title

We are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the programming aspect of projects from procurement to final account stage, ensuring projects stay on or ahead of programme and are continuously monitored and reported to the highest standard.

You will need to have commercial experience in a planning role, or alternatively a Junior Civil Engineer looking to progress your career in a Planning role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Programming: Producing programmes of a high quality which meet Company expectations, within time allocated and in line with project deadlines.
  • Team Guidance: Providing guidance and assistance to sales and support teams.
  • Project Ownership: Taking ownership / responsibility for relevant assigned projects.
  • Communication: Liaising with external customers and internal teams.
  • Site Visits: Regular site visits throughout Leinster to assist site teams with planning matters.
  • Issue Reporting: Report any planning issues to the senior project manager and site management team.

Requirements

  • Experience: Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 1 year of construction planning experience.
  • Civils/Utilities: Exposure to Civils/Utilities highly desirable.
  • Tender/Contract: Experience at both the tender and contract stages of projects.
  • Construction Process: Possess a good understanding of the construction process and how a project comes together.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.
