We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a natural flair for quantity surveying to develop into a technical professional and commercial leader.
About the Role- This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with Planning Engineers, assessing project progress, day works undertaken, and identifying variations and additions to the original contract.
- You will be responsible for issuing certificates of payment promptly.
- Reporting on the commercial status of projects to the Project Manager will also be a key aspect of this role.
- Maintaining accurate records of claims prepared, certificates issued, and retentions involved will require strong organizational skills.
- A third-level qualification in Construction Economics/Quantity Surveying is essential.
- Prior experience in the field would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in Excel is necessary.
- Familiarity with contract conditions and their applications is required.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills are crucial.
- Strong Record Keeping and Administration Skills are also necessary.
