About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Scientific Analyst to join our team in Charleville, Co. Cork. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and analysing product samples to ensure that quality standards are met. Any previous experience as a Laboratory Technician, Quality Control Specialist or Analytical Chemist will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Testing and analysing raw materials, work-in-progress and finished product samples.
  • Carrying out laboratory activities in line with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and company requirements.
  • Assisting with maintaining the laboratory in a clean and well-organised status.
  • Recording all data relevant to each test, results and keeping records up to date, clear and legible.
Requirements:
  • A science-based degree in a relevant area such as food science, nutrition, biology or analytical chemistry.
  • Good standard of PC literacy, including Excel and Word.
  • Analytical and logical approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Keen interest in food science and safety.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
