Job Description

Effortless data security is our mission at Evervault. We're a flexible payment data security and compliance platform built for developers.

We help engineering teams secure their most sensitive data, like credit cards and PII, and comply with data security and privacy compliance frameworks.

About Our Goal

Our customers range from small startups building their first product to the largest financial institutions in the world.

Evervault's strong signals indicate that SEO and other inbound channels are effective for our growth strategy.

We need an excellent technical writer who can scale this channel.

As a key member of our team, you'll partner with top design and product engineers to execute viral content.

Our brand is loved and respected in engineering communities – you'll get to work on interesting product topics.

These topics include payments ecosystem, security practices, customer stories, how to optimize margins, and what good DX looks like.

You'll have autonomy to decide what to write about, but also the support of our marketing team and paid ads to give you insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write engaging technical and non-technical content, especially eager to go deep on researching highly technical topics
  • Create top-of-funnel product-focused content marketing such as blog posts and tutorials that attract new engineers
  • Work with our teams to turn new features into innovative and timely content ideas
  • Growing and maintaining our content schedule around user personas and segments
  • Analyze how your content performs and decide how to adjust our strategy accordingly
  • Consider writing style and have strong opinions on what is interesting (and you're not afraid if some of these opinions are contrarian too)
  • Owning the organic search strategy to drive quality traffic, engagement, and revenue growth

Requirements

  • Have created engaging, well-researched content for developers and/or for payments industry
  • Had some experience doing software development
  • Come up with interesting and timely content ideas
  • Understand SEO and digital marketing dynamics, demonstrated through experience in blogs, websites, email marketing, content generation, or community management
  • Have a strong affinity for using both quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis to drive decision making
  • Be a self-starter, willing to take responsibility and own projects
