Power Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Power Infrastructure Manager to lead our health, safety, and environmental initiatives across power projects.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and implement comprehensive safety, environmental, and quality management systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Develop and execute strategic HSE plans for power-related projects, aligning with Irish legislation, client requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site audits, inspections, risk assessments, and performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead investigations into incidents, near-misses, and non-conformances, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Monitor environmental impact and ensure compliance with sustainability goals and regulations.
  • Provide expert guidance and leadership to site teams, management, and subcontractors on all HSE matters.
  • Deliver targeted training, inductions, and toolbox talks specific to high-risk activities.
  • Maintain accurate HSE records, reports, and KPIs, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant legislation, standards, and industry best practices, advising senior management accordingly.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Health & Safety or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience on power infrastructure projects (transmission, distribution including substations).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams.
  • Good written and spoken communication abilities.
  • Good IT skills with a high attention to detail.
  • A flexible and proactive approach.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills.
  • Proven track record in highly regulated environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Full clean driving licence; willingness to travel to sites across Ireland.
