Senior Lead Scheduler

We are the team behind Ireland's electricity grid, working to ensure that everyone has power when they need it.

Our goal is to transform the power system for future generations, enabling our society to reduce carbon emissions and meet climate change ambitions.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of this transformation as a Senior Lead Scheduler. You will lead a team of professionals to accurately report on the full Transmission Infrastructure Portfolio.

You will work closely with the Infrastructure Leadership Team and Programme Managers to ensure compliance with best programme management practices.

The team consists of highly skilled professionals with backgrounds in engineering and business/commerce.

  • You should have a degree-level qualification or equivalent, with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Power system industry expertise or regulated utility experience is preferred.
  • You must be able to develop solutions and think analytically.
  • You should have experience planning and organizing work activities within a cross-functional team.
  • You will collaborate and communicate transparently with others across the business and externally.

This role involves maintaining and overseeing the reporting baseline for the Price Review Period and other quarterly baselines for all projects in the Network Delivery Programme.

You will contribute to setting governance policies and standards for large-scale transmission infrastructure.

About you

The ideal candidate will have high-voltage transmission experience at 110/220/400 kV, including awareness of substations, overhead lines, and power cables.
