Job Opportunity: We are excited to present an opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our client's team. This is an excellent chance for someone with strong electrical maintenance experience to make a significant impact in a growing and innovative company within the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct electrical maintenance on food packaging machinery and production lines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults to ensure minimal downtime in production.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and ensure all machinery operates efficiently.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth, uninterrupted operations.
  • Work on electrical control systems, motors, drives, and PLC systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards at all times.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist in reporting on machinery performance.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias, preferably within the food manufacturing or packaging industry. Strong electrical fault-finding skills and knowledge of industrial electrical systems are essential, along with experience with PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems. You must also possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, as well as relevant electrical qualifications (QQI Level 6, 18th edition or similar).
