Job Title: Care Manager

As a seasoned professional in home care, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of motivated and compassionate carers in their assigned area. With full support from our Platinum Support Centre, you will play a crucial role in growing and managing a dedicated team that delivers exceptional care to vulnerable individuals.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as a deep understanding of health services supervisory management principles. With experience in using One Touch Care Management software, you will be confident in your ability to oversee daily activities, ensure compliance with HSE standards, and take any necessary action to safeguard clients.

  • Ensure efficient and effective management of carer onboarding, rostering, training, and overall carer welfare.
  • Deliver high-quality Platinum 20-hour Carer Induction Training, equipping carers with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide top-notch care.
  • Utilize One Touch Care Management software to monitor daily activities, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies for enhanced client outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with regional managers and support offices, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Identify, monitor, and manage training needs within the team, implementing career development paths aligned with our HR strategy.
Requirements:
  • QQI Level 6 Health Services Supervisory Management Skills (or higher)
  • 3-5 years' experience in home care or community care sectors in a supervisory or management role
  • Experience in using One Touch Care Management software is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Well-organized and process-driven
