Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Bar Manager to join our team in Waterford. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Bar Manager in the day-to-day running of food and beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Supervise and train Bar staff, ensuring high service standards are maintained.
  • Support in scheduling, rostering, and managing team performance.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering supplies as required.
  • Evaluate and implement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Handle guest queries and resolve any service-related issues in a professional and efficient manner.

Key Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • A customer-focused mindset with the ability to lead by example.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including bar, restaurant, and banqueting services.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
