We're looking for an expert in data quality to join our team.

Job Description

The Data Quality team is responsible for developing and driving Mastercard's data quality program. This team ensures that Mastercard governs the data and tooling that powers products and services across Mastercard.

We innovate to increase the value of Mastercard's data assets, protect the integrity of the Mastercard network, and ensure we continue to adapt to changes in the ecosystem, enabling new forms of payment, new players in the ecosystem and expanding collection and use of data to support new lines of business.

The Enterprise Data Quality & Sources team is responsible for ensuring data is of the highest quality and is fit-for-purpose to support business and analytic uses. The team works to identify and prioritize opportunities for data quality improvement, develops strategic mitigation plans and coordinates remediation activities with technical teams and product team business owners.

It also drives the creation of curated merchant data to improve the quality and availability of data for the organization.

Role Responsibilities
  • Govern regional and global prioritized data assets to ensure the highest quality of Mastercard data possible for products and services.
  • Protect the integrity of the Mastercard network by monitoring data quality trends and establishing dashboards and alerts for remediation.
  • Work the queue and approval of user-submitted data corrections.
  • Develop dashboards to monitor data quality.
  • Analyze new data assets to provide new data types, coverage, and better data quality for end users.
  • Support product team questions and onboarding to enterprise assets.
  • Engage technical and business partners to remediate issues found.
Requirements
  • B2B and B2C data governance and stewardship processes experience preferred.
  • Multiple EU languages, geography and business structures knowledge preferred.
  • Passion for research and eagerness to understand complex merchant business relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven experience in relationship building and partnering.
  • Mastercard platforms and applications understanding preferred.
  • Master data management tools (Reltio, Informatica, etc.) and AI high-level understanding.
  • Strong analytic capabilities and SQL, Hadoop/Spark, and business intelligence tools experience.
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to excel at multi-tasking and solving problems in a fast-paced environment.
Cybersecurity Responsibility
  • Audit all access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks and report any suspected security violation or breach.
  • Complete mandatory security trainings according to Mastercard guidelines.
