Senior Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team within a University Hospital.

The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert assessment, treatment planning, and intervention across various acute specialties.
  • Lead on discharge planning, ensuring safe transitions of care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior Occupational Therapists and students.
  • Contribute to service development initiatives and quality improvement projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work part-time in a fast-paced acute hospital environment where you will make a meaningful impact every day.

Requirements:
  • CORU Registration as an Occupational Therapist (Essential).
  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience, including at least 1 year in an acute hospital setting.
  • Strong clinical skills in medical, surgical, orthopaedics, or rehabilitation.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
